With blued octagonal sighted barrel engraved around the muzzle and with foliate scrollwork at the breech, threaded to engage with the cylinder arbor and secured by a flat-headed screw beneath, case-hardened cylinder numbered from '1' to '6' and engraved around the forward edge, border engraved frame decorated with scrolling foliage and inscribed 'Webley's Patent' within a scrolled banner on the left side, foliate scroll engraved hammer with chequered spur, trigger-guard and butt-cap, the frame tang serial numbered and inscribed 'By Her Majesty's Royal Letters Patent', hinged rammer retaining some blueing, finely chequered figured rounded butt, and some original finish: in contemporary lined and fitted mahogany case with some accessories, the exterior with shield-shaped vacant brass escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks 10.2 cm. barrel
