A rare William & Mary/William III West country trefid spoon, with a ribbed rat-tail bowl, (worn), the terminal pricked "IG I 1698", by John Peard (II), Barnstaple, circa 1695 - 18.25cm long; together with a Queen Anne ascribed West country trefid spoon with a beaded rat-tail pricked "MD WL 1708" at the top of the stem, by John Elston, Exeter, 1706, (repaired) - 20.25cm long.
