A Tiffany Studios and Tiffany & Co. Silver Mounted Cameo Glass Pitcher, the body of double gourd form, cameo cut with leaves on a martele ground, the silver mouth and handle decorated with conforming leaves and finish, the glass signed L.C. Tiffany Favrile 4240B, with a partial paper label, the silver stamped Tiffany & Co and dated 1902-1907. Height 13 1/8 inches. Estimate $ 20,000-40,000 The silver mounts with light overall wear to the surface, with some minor scratches near the spout and to the handle, in otherwise good condition. With chased and etched decoration with minor wear to high spots. The glass in overall good condition without cracks or repairs with a few scattered internal air bubbles from productions includeing some open examples on the surface, with moderate shelf wear. The label missing a sliver to one side with scratching and wear. Having a flat shallow chip to the pontil ring, approximately 1/4 long.
