J. Barnard, 1890, engraved Elkington & Co Ltd., Silversmiths, 22 Regent St. London; and a silver-mounted pen and pencil 13¼in. (33.5cm) long (36ozs.) The inscription reads, "To H.M. Stanley, on the occasion of his marriage, from the Prince and Princess of Wales, July 12th 1890".
