Each spread portrays pressed flowers and plants, facing a color lithograph. The lithographs portray views of Tiberias, Jerusalem (including "University on Mount Scopus"), Haifa, Tel-Aviv, Jordan River and the Dead Sea. The pages are titled in Hebrew, English and French. At the end of the album - an additional title page, "Flowers from the Holy Land" (in English, French and German), with the publisher's name - H. N. Schechter. Bound in an olive wood binding with a carved image of the Dome of the Rock, the title "Temple Mount" (Hebrew) and, on both sides, "Jerusalem" in Hebrew and English. Yehiel Zvi Zimrinsky was born in Russia in 1859, grew up in Alexandria and when still young relocated to Palestine. Was an olive wood craftsman and a businessman. He opened a "workshop for all kinds of olive wood" in Jerusalem and was involved in the development of the Yishuv. Died in 1933 and was buried in the Mount of Olives cemetery.
