Er machte sich einen Namen als Pestarzt und veröffentlichte Bücher über die Seuche. - Das vorliegende Werk umfasst eine Sammlung von Erklärungen physikalischer, astronomischer und chemischer Erscheinungen. - Etwas eselsohrig und gebräunt. Vereinzelt unscheinbar fleckig. Vorsätze im Steg verstärkt. Letzte Bll. mit fachmännisch hinterlegtem Wurmgang im weißen Rand. Gutes Exemplar in zeitgenössischem Einband. There he came into contact with the teachings of Paracelsus, which were highly controversial in France at the time. - The present work comprises a collection of explanations of physical, astronomical and chemical phenomena. - Somewhat dog-eared and browned. Occasional inconspicuous spotting. Endpapers reinforced in the inner margin. Last few pages with expertly backed wormholes in white margin. Good copy in contemporary binding.
