Beschreibung:

American Art Nouveau Painted and Leaded Opalescent Glass Allegorical Figural Window First quarter of the 20th century Probably emblematic of Autumn, depicting a young maiden in a vineyard dressed in a classical gown and with a leaf band in her hair, carrying a fruit filled basket in one hand and a fabric draped staff with a pinecone finial in her other hand, standing before a low trellis laden with clusters of ripe grapes, wood frame. Sight 57 1/4 x 29 1/4 inches, overall 66 x 34 3/4 inches. C
the window is comprised of two layers of plated or sandwiched glass in some places; there are hairline stress cracks to the glass in different areas of the window, the most noteworthy area with the most damage is located to the woman's robe, which has a shattered area with some loss to the glass and dislocation to another small piece, visible on both sides of the window but the area of loss is only visible when the window is examined from behind, there is also a v-shaped crack to the woman's left upper arm; there is a crack to two glass segments that are in the sky background above the figure's left shoulder and also to another segment in the upper corner, however, they only appear to the glass plates on the reverse side (there is no damage to these areas on the front side); there is some undulation to the overall panel; the reverse side of the wood frame is painted white; the front side appears to have been stripped
