"High Street from the Country Marketplace Philadelphia, with the procession in commemoration of the Death of George Washington, December 26th 1799." [Philadelphia, 1804]. From the second edition of Birch's Views, but first issue of this plate. Measures: 11 x 13 1/4 inches (280 x 337 mm), margins. Moderate mat burn, some dust smudging and damp wrinkling. Not examined out of hardwood and metal frame. Snyder 11c. * Hand-Colored Lithograph. Currier, N., publisher. "Washington's Reception by the Ladies, on Passing the Bridge at Trenton, N.J. April 1789…" New York, 1845. Measures: 13 x 8 3/4 inches (330 x 222 mm) - image and text, margins. Some dampstaining to text and bottom of image, a few small paper losses in image. Not examined out of 19th century hardwood and metal frame, likely laid down but color in good, bright state of preservation. Gale 7078. * Hand-Colored Lithograph. Kellogg and Thayer. "Washington. First in War, First in Peace, and First in the Hearts of His Countrymen." Ca. 1846-1847. Measures: 12 3/8 x 8 1/2 inches (314 x 216 mm) - image and text. Moderately toned, a few small paper losses in image, some dust smudging in margins.
