An Austrian small rosewood and satinwood line-inlaid month-going dachl-uhr, circa 1830 The case with two glasses to each side, brass levelling screws, with ormolu bezel to white enamel Roman dial, blued steel hands, the movement slotting onto a brass frame on the backboard also with suspension for the pendulum with ebonised wood rod and brass bob swinging against an enamel beat scale on the backboard, the single train movement with deadbeat escapement; brass weight -- 41¾in. (103.5cm.) high
