John Ogilby's publication of his translation of Nieuhoff's important account of China; this edition appeared four years after the first edition of Ogilby's translation. This copy lacks the folding map but does have the folding plan of Canton Lot Amendments Condition: Lower corners and spine foot worn, shaken; first 10 leaves with significant marginal repairs, particularly the two title pages; various other leaves throughout, including plates, have reinforcement at corners or edges, occasional contemporary marginalia in brown ink, a few dampstains; fair to good, sold with all faults.
