AN IMPERIAL FAMILLE VERTE CORAL-GROUND BOWL YONGZHENG YUZHI MARK WITHIN DOUBLE-SQUARES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735) The rounded sides of the bowl are exquisitely enamelled against a brilliant coral-red ground with a frieze of flowers and grasses rising from the foot, the flowers including blue and aubergine poppies in full bloom with white-edged petals and in bud-form, finely stippled yellow day-lilies, green and iron-red varieties of dianthus, and colourful daisies, the leaves of the different species picked out in three tones of green 5 7/8 in.
