Anglo-Chinese School, circa 1820 A partially disbound Album of Botanical Drawing including: St. John's Wort, a Rose, Almond, Erythrian, Pomegranate, Shell Flower, Hibiscus, Orchids, Datura, Hydrangea, a Lily, a Dahlia, Chaenomeles, Japanese quince, Tree Paeony, Marvel of Peru, French Marigold and Chrysanthemum with inscriptions in English and Latin and numbered 1-197 variously; twenty-eight drawings laid on the pages of the album; watercolour and bodycolour, unframed 18 x 14¼in. (457 x 368mm.) and smaller, the album 20¾ x 16in. (527 x 407mm.) overall (28)
