Sterling Silver Flatware Service 19th/20th Century In the Japanese pattern, comprising six dinner forks, six luncheon forks, four tablespoons, three teaspoons, nine demitasse spoons and a pair of yoked bow style asparagus tongs; And a Group of American Sterling Silver Flatware Articles. Comprising six Tiffany & Co. three-tined oyster forks, in the Antique Ivy pattern; and three Whiting Mfg. Co. five o'clock spoons, in the Arabesque pattern. Total approximately 58 ounces. Each appears to be in good condition; each is monogrammed; the monograms on the Japanese pattern pieces are consistent except for the demitasse spoons, which has a different consistent monogram; the stamped patterns are nice and crisp and nicely detailed except for the demitasse spoons, which are less so; handles are stamped TIFFANY & CO STERLING PAT. 1871 with various date letter codes: upper case "M"; lower case "m" and upper case "T". Tongs: appear to be in good condition; monogrammed on the U shaped outer end; no evidence of repair; stamped on the interior side of handle: M TIFFANY & CO. STERLING PAT. 1871 Weight of non Tiffany items: approximately 8 ounces
