Numerous plates and photographic illustrations in text, including extensive folding panorama of the exposition. Near contemporary quarter morocco, all original wrappers bound in. The complete series: the first 20 livraisons comprise the first volume and include over 300 illustrations. The final ten livraisons, published in 1901, constitute a second volume on Beaux-Arts and Expositions Rétrospectives. A very richly illustrated journal, Le Panorama provides a virtual encyclopedia of the exposition and the social milieu. The wrappers contain a multitude of advertisements, themselves a rich source of historical information. Illustrations of Art Nouveau furniture, room settings and designs are of particular note. The photos were taken by the leading French studio Neurdein Frères.
