Two parts in one volume. 2° (328 x 210mm.). Black letter, double column. Titles within engraved border, full-page engraved illustration of the Garden of Eden on verso of * 8 , woodcut illustrations in the text, woodcut initials. (Lacks final blank leaf, outer margin of first two and last three gatherings strengthened, outer margins trimmed affecting side-notes, some other small tears, mostly marginal, some leaves slightly stained or soiled.) Old-style morocco by W. Pratt stamped in blind and gilt, spine in compartments, g.e. Provenance : Sir Charles E.H. Chadwyck Healey (bookplate). Great Bible version which was printed after the accession of Queen Elizabeth I, for which Harrison was fined for printing without licence. DMH 117; STC 2096.
