Channing, Henry Morse (1880-1965) Archive of Letters and Documents. A group of approximately 200 letters addressed to Channing, most written at the end of the 19th century and within the first few decades of the 20th century; mainly sent from family members while Channing was overseas, almost all letters are with their original accompanying envelopes; together with Channing's report cards from Harvard, circa 1898-1902. Channing was graduated from Harvard in 1902. His family had transcendentalist roots in Concord, he was related to Margaret Fuller. Channing donated more than 700 acres to various public land trusts, including the Audubon Society, in Sherborn, Massachusetts, where he summered. The letters seem to have been collected by his parents.
