LINCOLN AND HIS FIRST-TERM CABINET ALONG WITH ALL THE MAJOR UNION GENERALS, all in full dress uniform, including Grant, Sherman, Meade, Sheridan, as well as future president Rutherford B. Hayes and Brigadier General George Armstrong Custer. The collection contains a fine early image of the President (Ostendorf-84), along with Vice President Hamlin, Seward, Stanton, Welles, Fessenden, Blair, Bates, Usher, and Speaker of the House Colfax. Other notable generals include: Scott, Halleck, Hooker, Burnside, Butler, Pope, Fremont, McDowell, and Warren.
