FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, with early issue points: "was" for "saw" on p. 57, the "Him and another Man" plate listed as being on p. 88; state 3 of pagination on folio 155 with final "5" present and extending slightly below the figures that precede it; the title-leaf a cancel; state 3 of p. 283 (on stub); the frontispiece in first state; the final leaf blank.
