Copy of Henri V of France, Count of Chambord [Binding - Liturgy] Pontificale Romanum Clementis VIII. et Urbani VIII. Jussu editum, postremò à Sanctissimo Domini nostro Benedicto XIV recognitum & castigatum, in tres partres divisum. Venice, Typographia Balleoniana, Folio: xv-[1]-pp. (occ. minor spotting, marg. soiling on p. vii). 19th-c. straight-grained red morocco gilt orn. in the roccoco style, large black painted fillet and gilt fillet frame on boards, gilt corner tools and fillets, large central gilt chalice, flat spine framed with a gilt fillet and orn. with leaf and palm design tools, ivory moiré paper doublures framed with gilt roll and fillet, endpapers in same paper, a.e.g. (some sm. scratches and sl. rubbing, one corner bumped, some foxing and/or spotting on doublures and endpapers). Nice copy. Edition ill. with an engr. title-vignette and nice liturgical scenes engr. in text by Andrea Rossi Title and text in 2 col. printed in red and black. With numerous music notation. ref.
