Large 8° (268 x 178mm.), half title, wood-engraved frontispiece and illustrations by Grandville (head of title reinforced without loss of letters, one signature spotted and browned, occasional light spotting and browning), modern calf-backed marbled suede-covered boards (corners rubbed), signature of G. Lemos on half title.
