James and sold by Maurice Atkins, 1712. Small 4° (248 x 191mm). Privilege leaf, title printed in red and black, 2 leaves of subscriber's list, 31 engraved plates only (of 32), 27 double-page and 4 folding, errata leaf at end (lacking folding plate facing p.138 supplied in facsimile, light thumb-soiling, lightly spotted). Contemporary green diced calf gilt, spine stamped in blind and gilt in compartments (extremities lightly rubbed, a few small marks). Provenance : W.W.E. Wynne (bookplate). FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH.
