Jugge] Date: [1574] Description: 22 leaves, foliated 45-66. Text in 2 columns, 63 lines, black letter. Woodcut initials. 34.7x23.3 cm. (13¾x9¼"), modern boards. Complete book of Ecclesiasticus from an early folio edition of the Bishops' Bible. Produced under the authority of the established Church of England in 1568, the Bishops' translation was substantially revised in 1572, and this revised edition was the base text for the Authorized King James Version of 1611.
