Small 2° (320 x 200mm.), half title, engraved frontispiece in two states, title with printer's device, 32 photogravure plates, all but one in 2 states, numerous illustrations, (some spotting throughout), dark brown morocco gilt by Riviere, spine gilt in 6 compartments, covers elaborately tooled in gilt, original wrappers bound in at rear. NO. 70 OF 100 COPIES printed on Holland paper. MANTZ, Paul. Hans Holbein , Paris: A. Quantin, 1879. 2° (452 x 318mm.), half title, title printed in red and black, 26 etched plates in 2 states, numerous wood-engraved illustrations, some full-page, half red morocco gilt by Zaehnsdorf, t.e.g. LIMITED TO 126 COPIES, THIS NO. 65 OF 100 on Holland paper.
