James) Fables from Ancients and Moderns, half-title with loss to upper portion, book label, original green cloth, spine lettered in gilt, darkened, Birmingham, 1838 § [Macdonald (?)], "Francis Fitz-Aesop". Fables of the Day, ink presentation inscription to head of title "W.Macdonald from his Father by whom it was written", original printed wrappers, minor paper repairs to spine, upper cover a little creased and with light surface soiling, 1831 § Boothby (Sir Brooke) Fables and Satires, with a Preface on the Esopean Fable, 2 vol., 2pp. advertisements, vol.1 lacking free endpapers, minor spotting and occasional browning, book labels, contemporary tree calf, spines gilt, Edinburgh, 1809 § Rowe (Rev. Henry) Fables in Verse, woodcut frontispiece and numerous plates, occasional browning, ink inscription to front free endpaper, contemporary green half calf, rubbed, J.Stockdale, 1810, 8vo (5) ⁂ A good group of scarce collections, COPAC lists only a handful of copies of each.
