Title: Five original photographs of Robinson Jeffers Author: Place: No place Publisher: Date: 1940s-60s Description: Vintage 5x7" black & white photograph of Jeffers with his wife Una standing, sipping cocktails at the wedding reception of Edith Greenan’s daughter Maeve Hardy in Feb. 1945, identified by Hardy on reverse; 5x7" color photograph of Robin and Una, at Tor House in Sunset by Ansel Adams This a Kodak print made in 1966 from the original color print taken in 1947. Color faded, given to Marlan Beilke by Mrs. Hans Barkan, Jeffers’s friend and collector; 8x10" black & white photograph by Bill King looking out of Tor House window toward the “Butterfly House” with Jeffers’ desk in foreground, Summer 1962; plus snapshot of Tor House, and a copy print of a young Jeffers. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine, but for the color fading in the Adams print. Item number: 275882b
