Victorian volunteer officer's helmet of the 14th Middlesex Volunteer Corps (Inns of Court), the green felt cloth skull with brass helmet plate and fittings, quatrefoil spike with original lining and chinstrap, interior inscribed AAB and with original tailors label size 7 1/8, some wear notably to the rear end, commensurate with age (Qty: 1) In 1881, the unit became a battalion of the Rifle Brigade and was renamed the 14th Middlesex (Inns of Court) Rifle Volunteer Corps in 1889.
