1. 4 Autograph Letters Signed and 6 Typed Letters Signed ("Anita"), 13 pp, 4to, various places including Paris, Santa Monica, and New York, February 17, 1951 to December 31, 1974, to George Cukor, on various letterheads, most written while writing and casting her stage adaptation of Colette's Gigi, some toning and creasing. 2. Photograph Signed ("Anita") and Inscribed, 5 by 8 inch silver print, inscribed at lower margin to George Cukor: "Love to my twin brother." Screenwriter and novelist Loos is most remembered for her comic novel, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She met Cukor at M.G.M. and co-wrote the screenplay of the Joan Crawford Norma Shearer vehicle, The Women. Here she updates Cukor on the process of staging her adaptation of Gigi, reporting that Colette has seen a young Audrey Hepburn and recommends her for the production. Loos also describes traveling with Paulette Goddard, and catching up with other mutual friends: "I'm seeing Ruth and Gar this week and will catch up on all the news of H'wood. They have Spence in tow, who seems to be something of a problem child. I don't think he's crazy about Europe. Kate dashes over to see him on weekends."
