MISSAL, use of Sarum. Missale ad vsum ecclesie Sarisburie[n]sis , Paris: François Regnault, 1529. 3 parts in one volume, 4° (225 x 168mm). Printed in red and black, the 4 leaves of the Canon Missae (v3-6) PRINTED ON VELLUM with a large woodcut of the Crucifixion, title within a woodcut border and with a large woodcut, metalcut of the Tree of Jesse on *8 v within a criblé border (repeated once), several large woodut illustrations and numerous small ones, woodcut initials, woodcut music printed on 4 staves, Regnault's device on last page (lower portion of the vellum leaf v4 restored with 2 lines in facsimile, a few illustrations and initials badly hand-coloured, top margins cut quite close just touching a few headlines). 19th-century old-style morocco by W. Pratt for F.S. Ellis, gilt edges (hinges rubbed). STC 16210; Adams L1212.
