NABOKOV'S ANNOTATED WORKING COPY, with underscorings scattered throughout, emphasizing questionable words and passages; over a dozen additions and emendations to the index; an interlinear Russian translation of lines 653-661 of the poem; minor emendations to spelling and punctuation, and the addition of line numbers, on 12 pages, all listed on the front endpaper, one in Véra's hand: she emended "hare breath" to "hair breadth."
