late 19th century. A drake and hen, each having solid bodies with attached heads and painted eyes. Both are working decoys with weights removed and retain what appears to be the original paint with desirable alligatored surface; possibly by an American Indian carver; 5.5" high x 15.5" long. Provenance: Ex: Cliff Alexander, Kingston, N.Y. Condition: Wear, minor gunning scars.
