An exceptional, unique and historically important 18K gold and enamel half hunter case two train minute repeating keyless lever clock watch with grande and petite sonnerie and French Royal coat-of-arms Signed Patek Philippe & Co., Geneve, movement no. 174'247, case no. 214'505, manufactured upon special request in 1895 Cal. 19''' nickel-finished two-train fully jewelled keyless lever movement wound by turning the crown to either side, bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck regulator, repeating and en passant striking on two polished steel hammers, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, blued steel spade hands, subsidiary seconds, in massive circular engine-turned case with five-bar hinges, engraved fleur-de-lys decorated band, the front with Roman numerals surrounded by translucent blue enamel on guilloché fleur-de-lys decorated background to the glazed aperture, surrounded by a gold ring with engraved shell decoration and another translucent blue enamel ring on engine-turned background, the back similarly decorated and centred by translucent blue enamel on guilloché background depicting the French Royal coat-of-arms centred and surrounded by gold fleur-de-lys, amethyst-set crown, Petite Sonnerie/Grande Sonnerie and Sonnerie/Silence levers underneath the bezel, repeating slide in the band, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed 58 mm. diam.
