POLYBIUS. De primo bello Punico Leonardo Aretino interprete, libri tres. Leonardi Aretini De temporibus suis liber vnus. Plutarchi Parallelia . Paris: Ascensius and Petit, 30 January 1512. 2° (279 x 194mm). Woodcut device on title of Badius' printing press, large woodcut initials (quire a misbound but all leaves present, light browning and a small waterstain at the end). Early 19th-century German boards (rubbed, rebacked and corners repaired with calf). Provenance : Georg Kloss of Frankfurt, noted bibliophile, this binding probably made for him (book-label) - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). Adams P1804.
