Ownership signature of Thomas Honeywood to top of title-page, likely Sir Thomas Honeywood (1586-1666), an English politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1654 and 1656. Lot Amendments Condition: Some rubbing and extremity wear to covers, old glue repair to top panel of spine, front joint cracking; creasing to front endpapers, title-page with 8" tear which is neatly repaired with old paper on verso, small marginal burn-hole; very good, a clean and quite fresh copy.
