Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn The Good Samaritan (B., Holl.90; H.101; BB.33-A) etching with engraving, 1633, fourth (final) state, a very good impression, showing only a little of the wear so encountered in this large, early print, watermark Arms of Nuremberg (cf. Churchill 275), with narrow to thread margins almost all round, a horizontal drying fold, a small thin patch with an associated nick at the lower left corner, two or three minor foxmarks, otherwise generally in good condition P.256 x 206mm.
