Rogers (Bruce).- Bernard (Auguste) Geoffroy Tory: Painter and Engraver; First Royal Printer; Reformer of Orthography and Typography under François I, translated by George B.Ives, number 4 of 370 copies, printed in red and black, designed by Bruce Rogers with all borders, decorations and initials redrawn by him from the original woodcuts in the 1865 edition, Robert Grabhorn's copy with his signature on front free endpaper with leaflet on Tory tipped in, leather book-label of Haven O'More, original green boards with decorative gilt panels, uncut, spine very slightly faded but still a fine copy, large 8vo, Cambridge, Mass., Riverside Press, 1909. ⁂ One of Bruce Rogers's masterworks.
