The second part is based on Martino Martini "De bello Tartarico historia" (1654), the story of the Manchu conquest of China. - Minor spotting in places, small marginal restored tear to folding map. A fine copy bound in contemporary brown calf, tooled covers, spine gilt, some rubbing, head of spine worn, small tears to upper and lower joint. Bookplate Rolle Library.
