Johnson was a National Science Foundation Fellow at the Institute for Theoretical Physics in Copenhagen in the 1950s prior to joining M.I.T. and purchased many of the items in Denmark that would later furnish his Karl Koch-designed home in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Due to space limitation, two of six items in this lot will be included in the preview at our Boston gallery.
