(12mo) original blue cloth-backed boards, spine lettered in black, jacket. First Edition. A fine copy of this cornerstone work on the design of the golf courses. H.S. Colt was the first non-professional golfer to work with course design and employ formal renderings, as well as to incorporate turf and tree transplantation as part of his layout model plans.
