Three talismanic drawings of an abstract grid with faces and plant motif on the infill, a guardian angel and a variation on the eight-pointed star with central face. Script preserved in a case made from a large snake, loops of snake at the top hold a throng for tying around the neck so it can be worn. a handwritten amulet scroll of prayers for protection against the ‘evil eye’, still birth, smallpox and snakebites .
