Payton, and Halifax, along with notation in a contemporary hand, "Form for the Civil List, 26th Sept. 1734." With ownership signatures of Robt. Bridges and Thos. Bridges at the top of the second title-page, and erasure of those names at the top of the first title-page caused small holes. The map is "A New Map of New England According to the Latest Observations 1720," Printed for I. Clark R. Ford, and R. Cruttendon. It includes Long Island, the Hudson River, then northeast as far as the Bay of Funda and part of Nova Scotia; there are insets of Boston Harbor and of the northeast from Philadelpia to Labrador.
