EDO PERIOD, 17TH CENTURYThe first a tea kettle of compressed circular shape with a later wood cover, painted with wheels, hay bales, flowers and other auspicious objects amongst crashing waves; the other two modelled as ewers with side handles, the tallest with figures in a mountainous rivers landscape and with formal designs to the neck; the third vessel with a long spout and loosely painted with butterflies and flowers, 23.5cm max.
