Lot of 6, including: Cabinet card of the Grafton Cornet Band showing men in their band uniforms and a young cymbalist, with backmark of photographer, P.W. Taft, Saxtons River, VT, and inscription noting the photo was taken in Saxtons River on Nov. 14, 1885. Cabinet card of the Shepard Family Concert Company with their banjos, violins, trumpets, drum, and tubas. Modern notation on verso notes they were from South Royalton, VT, and credits the photographer as J.K. Patch, Shelburne Falls, MA. Half plate outdoor tintype of a group of men with their instruments, posed in front of a small lake or river. Half plate tintype of two children, a boy and a girl, the girl stands in her dress and jumper while the boy taps his drum. Sixth plate tintype of four gentlemen and a lady, all posed with their instruments and wearing plumed hats. Sixth plate tintype of two gentlemen strumming their guitars while dressed in suits and bowler hats. Condition: Very good. Grafton Band cabinet card with bumped and worn corners.
