TWO JADE DRAGON PENDANTS EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 5TH CENTURY BC One with arched undulating body and forward-curved tail, the small head with incised eyes and striations curving down from the snout, with further incised striations interspersed with the C-scrolls that decorate the body, the translucent pale greenish-white stone with some brown alteration; the other with backward-turned head with rolled snout, and undulating body carved on both sides in low relief with detached scrolls within plain borders, the pale yellowish-green, semi-translucent stone with some small areas of buff alteration on one side and extensive brown and buff alteration on the other, both with a suspension hole 3¾ and 5 5/16 in. (9.5 and 13.5 cm.) long (2)
