Lot includes several items related to the 27th president: 9 photographs of Taft in Cuba, ca 1906, when serving as US Sec. of War under Pres. Theodore Roosevelt, each approx. 3.75 x 4.5 in., pasted together on a 14.5 x 18 in. sheet stamps on verso, behind each photo, "Return to Underwood & Underwood/ 3 West 46th Street/ New York 36, N.Y./ This Original File Print Is Not Sold and Must Be Returned After Use." 3 Taft postcards, including Taft at a rally in Haverhill, Mass., his summer home in Beverly, Mass., and a cartoon portrait with "BILL." A red, white,, and blue cockade, approx. 3 x 5 in. A modern printing of a portrait of Taft, 8 x 9.5 in. "Programme and Itinerary for Notification Day, Tuesday July 28th, 1908," 2.75 x 5.75 in., on card stock, giving the schedule of a ceremony celebrating Taft's nomination in his home city of Cincinnati. A ticket to the Notification Day ceremonies, 2.5 x 3.75 in., on card stock. 1908 printed portrait by Elmer Chickering, 5.5 x 8 in. Hand-colored engraving of Taft, by G.F.C.
