Cotton, 4 x 7.75 in., printed flag with 13 stars configured in wreath pattern. Inscription printed in selvage reads: Souvenir from the Betsy Ross House/ Birthplace of Old Glory Philadelphia (Stamped) Apr 25, 1910. Ca 1910. The legend of Betsy Ross took root in the hearts of Americans thanks to the efforts of her grandson William Canby.
