Five Transfer-printed Plates, England, early 19th century, a c. 1802-1810 John & Richard Riley earthenware dinner plate printed with the Standard Willow pattern, impressed hand-shaped mark and a blue-printed "Riley's Semi China" mark, dia. 9 1/4; a c. 1809-1811 earthenware plate printed in blue underglaze with the Ornate Pagodas pattern, unmarked, attributed to Richard Woolley Longton, Staffordshire, dia. 10; a c. 1795-1805 octagonal earthenware plate printed with a line-engraved Lady with Parasol pattern, marked printed blue circle with dot at center, dia. 8 3/4; a c. 1810-1825 earthenware dinner plate with lobbed edge, printed with the Gothic Castle pattern, unmarked, attributed to Spode, dia. 9 3/4; and a c. 1820-1830 James & Ralph Clews earthenware dinner plate printed underglaze in blue with over the glaze enameling in several colors with the Bird Catcher, Variation pattern, brown enameled rim, impressed maker's mark, dia. 10 in.
