One of the rarest of all American motorcycles, the Crocker 'Big Tank' twin offered here was purchased at a Chicago auction in September 2000, at which time it was stated that Mike Lange had worked on the engine's restoration. Since acquisition the Crocker has been on display in the vendor's private museum in the UK. The previous owner was Thomas M Baer of Janesville, Wisconsin, who had acquired it from Ian Abrams of Pepper Pike, Ohio in January 1995 (see copy of the title assignment document on file). Also on file is the State of Ohio Certificate of Title (issued in June 1992) which records the owner prior to Mr Abrams as Sylvester Boyachek of Union City, PA. Accompanying paperwork consists of the aforementioned title documents, operating instructions and various papers relating to its purchase in September 2000, including the Bill of Sale.
