1947 World Champion New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball (PSA/DNA NM-MT 8) Eighteen members of the 1947 World Champion New York Yankees have signed this OAL (Harridge) baseball including: Berra, Bevens, Brown, Chandler, Clark, DiMaggio (sweet spot), Houk, B. Johnson, Keller, Lindell, McQuinn, Page, Raschi, Reynolds, Rizzuto, Robinson, Shea, and Stirnweiss. The clean white ball and the blue ink signatures have both been rated NM-MT 8 by PSA/DNA. The 1947 Yankees faced the Dodgers in a World Series rematch that was heavily anticipated, largely due to the emergence of Jackie Robinson as an immediate star in his rookie season. The Yankees still had the great Joe DiMaggio anchoring their lineup in what was to be the first series ever televised. The series lived up to the hype, with the Yankees downing their cross-town rivals in seven games. LOA from PSA/DNA.
