The detailed scouting report includes a complete statistical analysis of every Yankee player and pitcher, and provides a pitch-by-pitch account of every game. The scouts, Wid Matthews and Ted McGraw, then provided recommended offensive and defensive plays for each Yankee player. The report was evidently of value since the Braves beat the Yankees in seven games in the 1957 World Series.
