Beschreibung:

This 1960 Corvette Roadster is reportedly very similar to the car that Wally Lewis sold in 1962 to start his trailer parts business. As such, it had a sentimental attraction to him, so much so that he later found a fuel-injected version in the same colors, which the family is retaining. The car was bought from Kompact Kar Korner in Lynnwood, Washington in 1998 and prior to that it was in Kansas City, Missouri. Recently restored, this Corvette is powered by a 230-horsepower, 283 cubic-inch V8 backed by a Powerglide automatic transmission. It does not have power steering or brakes but it’s one of 359 examples finished in Horizon Blue metallic with white coves in 1960. It has a white vinyl top, blue vinyl seats and new carpet. The engine compartment is mostly typical, the paint and chrome are excellent and the badges all appear to be new. The door jambs are typical, there is an aftermarket stereo and the steering wheel is chipped. The trunk fit could stand some adjustment but the bumpers are straight and the grille is really nice. The car rides on new, belted wide whitewall tires and the hubcaps have spinners. The odometer shows 86,201 miles, but very few of those are since the restoration was completed. Without reserve
